Children Meditation Classes


Meditation for children is a fantastic way to promote good mental health. Sometimes I think to myself, Shouldn't all children naturally have good mental health? Unfortunately, it's not always the case. As a parent, we want our children to experience being relaxed and free from the pressures and stresses of life. This should be a natural experience right?

In today's world, one in seven children experience some type of mental health issue. With ADHD, anxiety and depression being the most common. The rising levels of pressure our children are experiencing in the outside world is growing. Many parents are finding it more and more challenging to manage the different emotions that cause their children stress.

Having good mental health does not mean your child won't experience stress or difficulties. Experiencing a range of different feelings and emotions is very normal. Children need to know how to handle their emotions, and be equipped with different tools for when things come their way.

Meditation is a fantastic way to encourage children to come back to themselves. Commercial consumption and many forms of commercial activity may disengage children from being connected to their true feelings.

Our 1 hour classes are designed to help children reconnect, so they experience more of their happier selves. They will be taught simple tools and techniques to help them establish good habits, bringing more fun and playfulness into their lives. The meditation aspect will be experienced in small bursts with movement and different techniques in between. A healthy drink and snack will conclude the class, giving children time to connect with other like minded children. These classes are designed for children aged 7 to 12 and will run throughout the year.
